    Getting to Norwich Airport by Car

    Located just 4 miles north of the city centre, the best way of getting to the airport is by car. To plan your journey please use the route planner below.

    The main terminal building is located at the front of Car Park 1 (Short Stay) and a drop off area for taxis and passenger cars is located inside Car Park 1 (Short Stay).

    Getting to Norwich Airport by Train

    Norwich rail station is located in the city centre and is a 20 minute taxi journey from Norwich Airport.

    Both Abellio Greater Anglia and East Midlands Trains offer connections to Norwich throughout East Anglia.

    Getting to Norwich Airport by Bus

    Norwich Airport is served by Airport Park & Ride, Canary Konect and other local buses at stops nearby.

    Airport Park & Ride 

    Airport Park and Ride (PR1) operates 7 days a week including bank holidays. The service runs up to every 14 minutes during the day from the bus stop outside the terminal building, direct into Norwich City Centre. All buses serving this route are fully electric.

    • Adult: £3.00
    • Young person (5-19): £2.00
    • Concession: £2.00
    • Duo: £4.00 (valid for any two people travelling together)
    • Group: £6.00 (valid for groups of up to five people of any age travelling together)

    Tickets can be purchased in advance on the FREE First Bus App, or simply pay on the day with cash or by contactless when you board the bus.

     

    Canary Konect – Route 35

    Canary Konect provides a car –free way to get from Norwich Airport into and out of the city, stopping at Norwich City Centre and Rail Station on the way.

    Canary Konect also serves Carrow Park Stadium, home of Norwich City FC, perfect for those arriving in Norwich to watch the match.

    Buses leave from the bus stop outside the terminal building and run up to every 60 minutes, 7 days a week. Tickets can be bought on the bus or on the Konectbus app and range from £5.30 for an Adult Day, £9.80 for any 2 adults travelling together on a Tango ticket and £10.00 for a Family Ticket (consisting of 1 adult and up to four 5–19 year olds or, 2 Adults and three 5-19 year olds).

    Local Bus Services

    For other local bus services, the two nearest stops to Norwich Airport are located on the Cromer Road, adjacent to Tesco Express and there is a direct walking route (circa 8 minutes).  Turn left out of the terminal, follow the footpath round to just past the Norse building, where you need to turn left on the footpath which leads to Fifers Lane.  Tesco Express is opposite the end of this footpath and faces on to Cromer Road.
