Norwich Airport was today (April 1 2024) celebrating a major milestone with the start of operations from the airport by Ryanair.
It sees Norwich become Ryanair’s 22nd UK airport with the start of three exciting new summer sunshine routes.
Ryanair’s brand-new Norwich Summer 2024 schedule is delivering:
- 3 new routes – Alicante, Faro & Malta
- 12 flights per week to/from Norwich
- 60,000 passengers in Summer 2024
- Over 60 new local jobs
The inaugural Ryanair flight took off for Alicante on Monday morning (April 1st), and was due to be followed later in the day by flights to Malta and Faro.
In addition to offering new routes and more choice for customers Ryanair’s new Norwich operation will drive valuable inbound tourism for the region and is creating more than 60 local jobs, supporting important regional growth and development.
