Norwich Airport welcomes Ryanair’s additional flights to Alicante

Norwich Airport has warmly welcomed Ryanair’s decision to add a third weekly flight to Alicante this summer, providing even more choice for passengers travelling to the popular Spanish destination.

The new Friday service will operate from 6 June to 24 October, complementing Ryanair’s existing Wednesday and Sunday flights.

Ryanair first launched flights from Norwich last year, introducing summer services to Alicante, Malta, and Faro, and later extending its Alicante route to operate year-round in response to strong demand.

In addition to the Spanish sunshine route, twice-weekly flights to Malta will resume on 30 March, with twice-weekly services to Faro restarting on 31 March.

Richard Pace, Managing Director of Norwich Airport, said: “We are delighted that Ryanair is adding a third weekly service to Alicante this summer.

“This additional flight enhances flexibility for travellers and demonstrates Ryanair’s ongoing commitment to the route. It’s great news for holidaymakers looking for convenient travel options from Norwich.”
