Norwich Airport is proud to announce that it has chosen East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) as its adopted charity of the year, starting from 1st April.
The airport will work closely with EACH over the next 12 months to raise funds and awareness for the charity’s invaluable work supporting children, young people, and families facing life-threatening conditions.
As part of this new partnership, Norwich Airport’s Managing Director, Richard Pace, and colleagues recently visited The Nook, EACH’s purpose-built hospice in Norwich. The team had the opportunity to see first-hand the essential care and support the charity provides to families across the region.

The Nook offers a home-from-home environment where families can receive specialist nursing care, therapy, and much-needed respite. It is equipped with a hydrotherapy pool, sensory room, and overnight accommodation to provide comfort and support to children and their loved ones.
Richard Pace, Managing Director of Norwich Airport, said: “We are delighted to support East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices as our charity of the year. The work they do at The Nook and across the region is truly inspiring, providing care and support to children and families when they need it most. Our team is looking forward to fundraising and working closely with EACH to raise awareness and make a real difference.”
Laura Southcott, EACH’s Senior Corporate Fundraiser for Norfolk, said: “We’re so grateful and excited about this partnership. To have the support of our city’s airport is an incredible boost and will undoubtedly help raise awareness of our vital work, caring for children and supporting families across Norfolk and the rest of East Anglia.
“It’s also going to make a tangible difference financially, given that we rely so heavily on donations and fundraising activity. Only 15 per cent of our income comes from the government and statutory sources, so partnerships like this are incredibly helpful, and we very much look forward to working together.”
To support EACH, Norwich Airport staff will be organising a variety of fundraising events throughout the year, with passengers visiting the airport also able to learn more about the charity and make donations.
In addition, a special behind-the-scenes tour of the airport is being arranged next month for the siblings of children supported by EACH. This unique experience will provide a fun and memorable day for brothers and sisters who play such an important role in their families’ journeys.
