Take off to Exeter with Loganair

Loganair, the UK’s largest regional airline, has today (12 July) launched a new direct service between Exeter and Norwich, enhancing its 2021 summer schedule.

The new route will operate up to four times weekly, flying Mondays, Wednesday, Fridays and Sundays, connecting business and leisure travellers alike.

Operated using a 49-seat Embraer 145 regional jet, the route will see fares starting at just £64 one-way from Exeter.

Kay Ryan, Loganair’s chief commercial officer, said:We are thrilled to be launching our new Norwich-Exeter route and recommencing flights to Edinburgh today”. “The services will provide essential connectivity for businesses as the economy begins to recover and allow loved ones from across the UK to finally reconnect”. “We are committed to restoring domestic services and playing our key role as the UK’s largest regional airline, at a time when UK connectivity has never been more important.”

Richard Pace, Managing Director at Norwich Airport, said: “We’re delighted Loganair has now restored the link between Norwich and Exeter, which is followed by a new route to Edinburgh in July. These launches are great news for our airport and our region as we look to accelerate a safe return to flying and give a welcome boost to domestic tourism and our regional economies.”

Stephen Wiltshire, Operations Director at Exeter Airport, said: “It’s wonderful that Loganair has re-established the link between Exeter and Norwich, which is a key route for business, tourism and reconnecting family and friends kept apart by the pandemic. Importantly, this launch fills another gap left by the collapse of Flybe, with almost every domestic destination from Exeter now restored.”

Whether they’re visiting for business or leisure, Exeter has plenty to offer, with numerous historic attractions, the beautiful quayside where you can take part in outdoor activities on and off the water, and top-quality local food & drink. Dartmoor National Park lies to the west, and the World Heritage Jurassic Coast is just 10 miles away, with excellent rail and bus connections. Check out www.visitexeter.com for inspiration.”
