FLYBE IS UK’s TOP AIRLINE FOR ON TIME PERFORMANCE

Flybe has been rated as the best UK airline for punctuality and, with an on time performance of 86.6%, also placed sixth worldwide (up from 17th last year) in the 2016 OAG Punctuality League report. This annual report is published by the globally renowned air travel intelligence specialist, OAG, and is regarded as the industry’s most comprehensive annual ranking of on-time performance (OTP) for the world’s airlines and airports.

Executive Chairman, Simon Laffin, said: “Flybe operates more than 450 flights a day in very crowded airspace and busy airports, and in often very challenging weather conditions. This official, independent recognition for our on time performance is therefore really heartening. Time is of the essence for all our passengers, whether they be travelling for business or leisure and it remains a key consideration for passengers when choosing an airline.

“We are extremely proud to be the number one airline in the UK and number six globally for our 2016 On Time Performance and we will be working hard now to improve even further in  2017.”

Flybe operate direct flights from Norwich to Alicante, Chambery, Edinburgh, Exeter, Jersey, Malaga and Manchester.
