Airport’s summer schedule in full swing

Norwich Airport’s summer schedule in full swing! Hot on the heels of the launch of its first ever Ryanair flights, Norwich Airport is gearing up to welcome an influx of passengers as the rest of its sunshine schedule gets into full swing in May.

Over the coming days tour operator TUI will be launching eight summer destinations from Norwich to Cyprus, Corfu, Crete, Rhodes, Ibiza, Majorca, Menorca and Turkey. TUI also flies year-round from Norwich to Tenerife.

Meanwhile Blue Islands will start its twice-weekly summer flights to Jersey from 11th May. Travellers can also enjoy year-round flights from Norwich to Aberdeen with Loganair, and KLM has up to four flights a day to Amsterdam, with over 145 onward destinations.

In April Ryanair started flying from Norwich for the first time, with three brand new routes to Malta, Alicante and Faro, supporting the creation of an estimated 60 local jobs.

The 60,000 extra seats means Norwich Airport is on track to surpass pre-covid passenger numbers when over half a million people used the airport.

Richard Pace, Managing Director of Norwich Airport, said: “We’ve had a busy start to the year, firstly to prepare for Ryanair’s arrival in April which has gone really well, and now gearing up for our full summer schedule with TUI’s eight destinations starting in May.

“We’re delighted to be offering so much choice to local people and thanks to continued investment and passenger growth we are aiming to exceed pre-covid passenger numbers this year.”

In total there are 17 destinations in 10 countries being offered from Norwich Airport in 2024/25.
